What exactly is ECSS?

Egypt Civil Society Support (ECSS) is a three-year program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). 

ECSS is designed specially to build the organizational and management capacity of Egyptian civil society organizations (CSO). 

By sharing tools and resources, as well as networking Egyptian civil society, ECSS is supporting the institutional capacity development of CSOs throughout Egypt.

NGOConnect Egypt provides a wide variety of downloadable Arabic-language resources and a database of trainers. 

The ECSS e-learning portal, allows members of civil society organizations nationwide to enroll in online courses within the key areas of organizational development, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and financial management.

ECSS also facilitates the creation of communities of practice in the governorates throughout Egypt through which civil society professionals can gain knowledge, exchange experiences, and share best practices.
